Route 16 (Revere Beach Parkway) over Route 107 (Broadway)

The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) has identified Bridge R-05-015, which serves Route 16 (Revere Beach Parkway) over Route 107 (Broadway) as nearing the end of its functional life. The goal is full replacement of the historic bridge and associated improvements along Route 107 within the project limits. The construction associated with the bridge replacement is expected to impact operations along Route 16, Route 107, and the Route 16 ramps.

HSH is providing preliminary and final bridge design, including preliminary structure report, bridge type selection worksheet, sketch plans, final design plans, specifications and construction cost estimate; traffic engineering; roadway design; community engagement; and temporary traffic control design from preliminary through final design phases. HSH will also provide Construction Phase services supporting MassDOT.
