Boston Landing Commuter Rail Station Opens

May 25, 2017

Last week, HSH Project Manager, Liz Peart attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony at the new Boston Landing Commuter Rail Station. Financed by New Balance under a public-private partnership agreement with the MBTA, the $20 million station, on the MBTA’s Framingham/Worcester Line, will open next Monday, and will provide residents and employees a new transit connection.

“It has been 55 years since commuter rail served this area and the station will promote continuing smart growth, a core value of the project.” – Liz Peart

On May 9, Liz was joined by Project Manager Brian Beisel at the “topping off” ceremony for the Residences at Boston Landing, a 17-story luxury apartment tower.  A joint development project of NB Development Group, HYM Investment Group, and John Hancock Real Estate, this building is the latest addition to the Boston Landing neighborhood in Brighton, which is already home to the athletic company’s global headquarters, the Warrior Ice Arena, and will ultimately include a new practice facility for the Boston Celtics, new office and retail space, a track and athletic center for elite running events, and a hotel.   Together, these elements are creating a new energetic neighborhood for businesses and residents.

We are so pleased to help the team deliver this modern, sustainable and iconic development project!
